Quick question - anyone tried to run the game using a new USB Happ trackball instead of the one with the IO card? Now that the dongle can be emulated, if there is a way to use the buttons with a small ipac and a Happ USB trackball I was thinking I could build another machine without needing any of the oem equipment. Oh well - at least I know it all works now! And the new machine runs faster, and oh so much quieter! Now I feel like a total idiot because I am going to have to do the install all over. forgot that the server patch won't work with all access. I thought there was a chance the original chipset install might be the issue.įinally decided to just try again from scratch, and this time after the OS recovery I loaded chipset and sound right away, then the game, and bam, emulator worked easy as pie on first try. Dongle would not emulate though, even though I was certain I was doing the steps right. Took a chance on some drivers I found on a 3rd party website (dicey) but they were solid and worked like a charm. Tried to get them from Intel's site but I think I installed wrong ones. Worked on this forever, not helped by the fact that Dell no longer had the chipset for download, nor the sound drivers, for the desktop I got off the used market. Loaded it up, couldn't get the chipset right after loading the game and therefore sound was not working. Update on my end, as already reported on facebook group:īought a g圆20 on ebay, 6600 graphics card. If someone could share that info I'd be grateful.

I still haven't figured out how to convert a. If you're running a different version of the game and have the. Restart your game without a real dongle attached and it should work. Here are the basic instructions for using the dongle emulator for Team Challenge:ġ) Have Team Challenge running to the point where it says you don't have a valid dongle (if you need the files to get you to this point, they're available through the facebook group)Ģ) Insert a disk or usb drive with the HASPHL2007.exe file and Team Challenge.dng files (available here - )ģ) Create a new folder on the C: drive and drop those two files into the folderĥ) Click “Install Driver” - driver should installġ0) A window will open, locate the Team Challenge.dng file, select openġ1) Confirm that the license field is populated I recommend signing up for the Facebook page if you haven't already. Lou and others over at the Facebook page paved the way. I didn't come up with the process, or create the files.
